Sorry I’m never on here anymore, guys. Things are a bit crazy lately. More on that later.
A while back, Laker & I went to the Oklahoma State Fair with Rachel & Ethan. It was so much fun! Plus, we happened to go on $3 admission day, so that was a nice surprise!
First, Laker & I went to the bank to get cash. They gave us suckers (:
Then we tried some chocolate covered bacon. Not as bad as I thought it would be, but not worth the $6 we paid for it.
When Rachel & Ethan arrived, our first stop was the petting zoo. We got to pet a kangaroo! Technically it was a wallaby, which is still a type of kangaroo. So yeah.
Then a baby deer kept trying to eat Laker’s shoelaces. He succeeded in eating part of them.
The llamas were a lot softer than I anticipated. So fluffy!
The four of us were standing in a circle & this guy decided to come fill in the gap.
They had another kangaroo with a baby!
I also got to pet the baby deer. She’s a bit camera shy.
After the petting zoo, we got more food. First, a pork parfait, which was fantastic. Pulled pork, mashed potatoes, & BBQ sauce <3
Then we had some fried mac & cheese. Also pretty great.
I also had a bit of Rachel’s chocolate covered banana & some of Ethan’s chocolate covered cheesecake, but then it fell on the ground :( Then Laker & I got a cute little root beer jug!
I won this minion at that game where you throw darts at the balloons. Granted, I had to tell him I was 15 so he’d give me a bigger prize… But I still won it. I named him Papoy!
I bought a caramel apple as we were leaving. I had never had a caramel/candy apple before, so I wasn’t sure how to eat it, but it was good! Got to cross that off of my Bucket List (: It was covered with caramel, Oreos, & a gummy worm.
Anyway, we had a lot of fun! I wasn’t able to ride any of the rides because of my health, but it was totally worth going just for the food, friends, petting zoo, & people watching!
